Problems when server errors arise

description

Problem: when the server returns an error, the add-in hangs and needs to be manually shut-down.

For example, in a typical scenario I start a batch geocoding job and see the normal informational box that indicates "Batch geocoding data. This may take several minutes." Then I may get a server error such as "Error 503: server unavailable" which pops up a second informational box. I close this second box and return to the first which is continuing to show the job running. Now I cannot close this first box except through with a manual shut-down via the Task Manager.

The next time I start Excel I receive a message "Excel experienced a serious problem with the 'bing spatial services addin' add-in." It asks me to disable the add-in. If I don't disable, Excel opens and the app seems to be ready for another run.
